Baptist Retirement Communities of Georgia (BRCGA) dba, Ignite Living is an agency that operates under the umbrella of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. Ignite Living owns all its assets and any associated debt, but we choose to operate under the umbrella of the Georgia Baptist Convention. The Executive Director of the GBMB, sits on our board of trustees as a “Sole Member.”
Because we are an agency of the GBMB, Ignite Living adheres to the faith, practices, and common beliefs held by the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. All operations are consistent with those of the GBMB.
Our stated purpose is to serve senior adults with a ministry that has as its mission: To enrich the lives of active aging adults by empowering each individual to flourish through a holistic approach of the dimensions of wellness within a nurturing, Christian environment. “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to your gray hairs, I will carry you! Baptist Retirement Communities of Georgia dba, Ignite Living began with the gift of the Winecoff Hotel on Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia. Since conception the ministry has maintained a clear mission:
